Project Lazarus Sing-in
Hummingbirds and Grace Singers, Cameroon, Central Africa
As part of the MCC Gulf Coast Network our church was asked to host the 2015 gathering and what a great time! Our Music Department lead the three worship services (Friday Night, Saturday Morning & Saturday Night). To learn more about the network gathering and see pictures click here.
We have worked with missionaries in Cameroon, Africa to record music for their children's choir to sing to. Once the missionaries leave the music will remain behind for the children to use in church. See pictures of the preschool choir, called the Hummingbirds and the older children's choir known as the Grace Singers.
The Music Department of the Metropolitan Community Church currently consist of two pianist, two guitarist, singers, and our Audio/Visual team; lead by our Music Director Ryan LeJeune. Our Music Team rehearses every Thursday night in the church sanctuary and strives to lead excellent worship on our Sunday morning and special worship services. Using MCC New Orleans Vision we strive to support a powerful worship experience.
The Music Department also supports the community, both near and far, see some of our activities below:
