Cory Lear

Lay Delegate

Cory Lear has been attending Metropolitan Community Church of New Orleans since April 2014.  Immediately he knew he had found a home and a family, that embraces the belief of God's love should be shared with everyone.  Becoming a member, shortly thereafter, Cory took an interest in the A/V department.

An alumni of Archbishop Shaw High School and University of New Orleans, Cory is proud to call New Orleans home.  He has worked as a performer for the Walt Disney Company, Universal Studios Florida, and Harrah's Casino.  Since, he has transitioned to a more mentally challenging career, as a Systems Analyst for Children's Hospital.  He volunteers as a "Buddy" for The Miracle League of Greater New Orleans, believing that "Every Child Deserves a Chance to Play Ball".
Cory is honored to have been selected to represent his MCC New Orleans family as their Lay Delegate.  He promises to represent them in the light that they deserve.
